Information Security International, Inc. 1299 Lamberton Drive, Silver Spring MD 20902, Tel: 301-649-6923. Brochure, 1987. 6 pages.

The Parvus Company and Information Security International (ISI) are sister companies which operated from the same address and used the same telex number in the late 1980s. The brochure from Parvus contains 40 biographies of "staff and associate professionals" and the one from ISI contains 30; the overlap between the two is 14 names. Most are semi-retired spooks. The two companies ostensibly offer intelligence and security services to corporate clients, but they may also function as "cutouts" when the CIA wants to maintain deniability or avoid Congressional oversight.

The latest address we have for Parvus Company is 8403 Colesville Road, Suite 610, Silver Spring MD 20910, Tel: 301-589-4949. Both companies seem to have Iran-contra connections. In 1990 ISI was named by former CIA officer Bruce Hemmings as an agency cutout for illegal arms shipments, and in 1988 Clair George, later convicted for his Iran-contra role, was appointed ISI president. As for Parvus, their brochure says that "since its formation in 1984, Parvus has operated in more than forty countries." Most news stories now refer to this company as "Parvus-Jericho." This might have something to do with "Jericho International," a London-based company that, according to Richard Brenneke, worked with William Casey to ship arms to Iran in 1981-82. In any event, as of 1987 Richard Helms was chairman of the board at Parvus.
